Acquired by Occidental in 2023, Carbon Engineering provides the core Direct Air Capture technology used in 1PointFive's large-scale deployment projects. While its primary R&D Innovation Center remains in Squamish, BC, its commercial operations and deployment are integrated into Occidental's US-based low-carbon business.
